why dont uz have 2 options when u register
1. free and still full acess

or

2. £10 full acess and uz send stickers etc

just an idea might get uz extra funds for the upkeeping of the sit plus advertising the site through the stickers yous sent out

think they don't want to do this as they want everyone to have full acess, already ask about it but they through it wasn't a great idea as they want free access for everyone even those who are not register and prefere menbers to make donation instead

yeh you would still have full acess with both options but when you pay £10 or wotever your gettin free stickers or passes for events etc

One of the great things about this site is that its free and everybody is treated the same. Even members of the team.

Everything that is sold on the site. Sitckers and polos soon are made for zero profit.

Whilst i can see your reasoning for a £10 option this will never happen. We give members the option to donate if they want but you won't be excluded if you don't. Site stickers are dirt cheap and so are the polos.

With regards to event passes after a few events the team would be out of pocket. We happily organise events for the members and the members pay for their tickets. Its just easier that way.
We don't want to turn this site into a business which is why you don't see any advertising banners and we are very selective about traders that we allow on the site.

If a member wants to donate they can after they have joined. I don't see why it would need to change.

I can see Mark's logic though.

I totally understand that you want to keep it as a community, not a business, but you could have everything as it is, but rather than 'just a donation', you buy stickers/whatever for a donation - ie. donate up to £X and get stickers, up to £3X and you get...
People always like to get something for their money - hence the pens from Cancer Research, or the 3 disgustings sweets for 60P or whatever!

(I've never looked in this section before, so I'm possibly repeating everybody else's thoughts - if so, sorry )
