Hi all!

My motor is filthy so if the weathers good tomorrow I'm going to give the beast a good wash and polish. I'm gona use T-Cut but was wondering if it's going to stain the stripes if I'm not carefull Anyone had any problems using T-Cut.

I've got a Performance Blue ST with white stripes - she's called Holly! Lol.

Is it a cutting coumpound or a coloured wax/polish?

I use red polish on my car and it it gets on the stripes you can wipe it off before it dries or even if it dries on, it will come off with washing up liquid

you should only use t cut if the body work is dead,if the bodywork is not dead i would use a non cutting compound

yeah but t-cut now make standard polishes and waxes, not sure if he means these?

oh really didnt know lets hope he means the non cutting t cut then

Cheers for the info, not checked the bottle to be honest. Any suggestions for another product if this ones not a wax / polish?

Cheers Essex, will get some of that if the T-Cut I've got is the wrong one.

I used to t cut on all the bodywork and stripes, but don't use the clay on it otherwise the colour will fade

Mine also needs a good clean, Got to get it all done for Ford Fair.

I use Triplewax on mine, seems to give it a deep shine and works ok, what do you guys consider to be 'the best' polish/wax to go for?

I don't think they're my ccup O tea... sound a bit glam rock to me

Use the Meguires range and you cant go wrong,bring the car up a treat,not cheap but not silly price either,can be bought from most halfords etc.
