decided not to go to work today and ride 74 miles in the drizzling rain, it was quite mild (for winter) but we got a bit wet through, anyway about seven of us and we had a good day and much cake and coffee in the cafe.
Heard a genuine story from a friend today, farmer bringing his cows out across the road and into opposite field, big exhaust comes tearing along, most upset at having to stop, maintains his loud stereo with windows down, tapping loudly with the beat on outside of his door, apparently says something to the passing large animal who promptly lifts up both rear feet and plants them on his bonnett.
