This should be done under your warranty.

Not convinced that it would be replaced under warrenty. You're only going to blow the speakers if you play them too loud which would be negligent on your part.
Still, give it a go

Had my rear speakers popping last year and got mine done under warranty, with no problems.

I would recommend getting a Parrot if you want bluetooth in your car. I paid £175.00 + VAT for one fitted in mine. Very useful!

When changing the headunit (i have a pre facelift, ford 6006) i assume the standard dash panel will need changing to enable a din/double din unit to be fitted. Does anyone know where i can find one of these replacement panels and how much i'm looking at paying?

Thanks for all your help! Would anyone say its worth upgrading from the 6006 to a sony one?
I am very interested in bluetooth in my car. Bradders, excuse my foolishness but how does the system actually work? Does it work with your car audio player (Would it work with my existing 6006?)
Please excuse all the questions, im very new to this all!!
Thanks

It connects into the back of your head unit and basically if you want to dial a number or recieve a call, it cuts out the radio/cd player (whatever you are listening to) and the microphone is tiny and right above u so you can have a normal convesation with someone as you drive. It has a screen to your right as well, fairly small, but its your phones address book which automatically updates so you can scroll through your contacts and choose who you want to dial. It has a good voice regonition too so saves pressing buttons
