Hi Guys,

I'm new here, so I thought I'd say Hi to start with!!

I've had a Fiest ST for the last few months, and it is without a doubt, a great little car! But now I'm looking to start work on putting a new sound system in there, but need to start with the Head Unit.

I have the triple dash stereo, and heard through the grapevine that you can buy a new dashboard panel from Ford which allows you to put a Double DIN head unit in, does anyone know what the ford part number is for this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ian

Actually - i have had a squiz round on the internet and Audioleads do do one of these facias.

iirc Halfords should be able to order from Audioleads for you.

Fascia number is Autoleads: FP-07-09 - Ford C-Max / Fiesta 08/05> facia (£15)

you may need the lead too

Lead number is AUTOLEADS-PC99-X50 - Vehicle Interface - Ford Fiesta Mk7 Double Din (£30)

Dunno about ford bits Hope this helps mate

Hey and welcome to the site. I have moved your topic to the noobs section.

For the car audio side of things have you tried http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk . I have always used them as they are great on price and have alot of stock. You might also want to contact Patrick ( Fabrix) as he has done an ice install on his st. There is a guide in the how to section of what he done.

Cheers guys,

I will check those out, but I know for definate that you can replace the surrounding section of the stereo with another one from a Ford Fiesta, that is desinged for a DIN radio, so I just need to get that part number from someone and get it from Ford!!

If anyone comes across it, can they let me know, thanks.

Is it the sat nav facia that you are on about? Thats a double din. Costs £80. If you have a look on ebay there is usually a few for sale and they might list the fins code
