Driving along tonight I noticed the headlight beam was not right somehow. After close inspection it appears that on the near side headlamp the silver ring has come away from the reflector by around a centimetre at the bottom. The other one is still sitting flush to the reflector. Has anyone else heard of this happening??

I'll try to get to my local dealer tommorow. I've had the car is exactly 1yr old today surely the headlamp arangement would be covered by waranty?

Yep deffo take into your dealer it will be covered by your warranty.
