Don't know about the price, but the service should be outlined in your owners Service schedule book.

I know its thing like new spark plugs, oil change, oil filter, possibly pollen filter and checking everything from head to toe so things like hoses, pipes, other fluid levels like anti freeze, screen wash and PAS, handbrake cable, steering, suspension, gearbox, pads & discs, tyres etc etc...

Ring Ford and ask them! lol

Thing is, it's 3 years old now so the warranty has/is about to run out so why pay £65 per hour labour charges?

If you still have some warranty left then have an annual service instead - oil, filters and a plug in to make sure everything is OK. If the IDS says there's a problem you can get that done before the warranty expires.

Then you can pay cheaper labour prices elsewhere to get the air con re-gassed and the coolant, PAS fluid and brake fluid changed.

It amazes me how 5 litres of oil and an oil filter costs £300 when the car's 3yrs old but £140 when it's 1 yr old. The £140 amazes me as well!!

Don't say they do more coz they don't, beleive me (unless you stand and watch them)

My warranty was nearly up when I had my 3rd service so I didn't get Ford to do it, just went to my local garage. £100.

id get the mot done a month before the warenty ends that way if it fails on out major you have a chance off it getting done under warenty, (im not talking brakes or tyres)as for 350 quid for a major service well thats a bit steep, id find a local garage that can do mot and service for around 100 to 150 quid

Exactly what I was thinking Dave. There's no way in hell I'd pay £350 to service a Ford!!! That's daylight robbery!
