Hi all

Managed to get my front fog light smashed - no idea how! Quotes are coming in at the best part of £100 to get it replaced, which as ive just insured it and paid for its 3 year MAJOR service i could do without spending.
Anyone got any suggestions on:
a) how to get a cheap ford part
b) how to replace it myself

ps, ive been told i have to change the whole unit. Is this right, or can i just get the lense on its own?

List of the bits for the front foglight. I'm not sure if you can split the lense and change that. I guess you can as all the parts have there own part numbers. Someone will proberly know for sure though.

Just get a replacement unit from Ford and fit it yourself.

Couple of screws and a plug and you're done.

You have to change the whole unit.

If you've just smashed the glass then its part number 1209177 from Ford. Unscrew the screw in the plastic bezel, unclip, take out the plug, replace, clip, (check its working before screwing it all back in) screw. The end. About £30.
