Hello. I have a Zetec S and after about 6 months it developed a squeaky rattle coming from the rear. Turns out it was the handbrake cable rubbing, this is a known problem on the Mondeo but was the first case that my garage knew of on Fiesta. They fastened it back in place and sure enough it was fixed.
Ive now got another rattle coming from the boot. My car is now nearly 3 years old. I took it in last week and they removed the plastic cover from inside the boot. It turns out my rear wiper motor was loose!! I watched them fix it and it was quite loose. I still have a rattle though and it is in again this Thursday. I'll let you know how i get on.

I'm trying to get views on this as I feel like a numpty keep taking my car back to ford for silly noises!! It's only 18 months old and want to make sure it's right before the waranty runs out.

i took mine for 300km blast through the windy hills yesterday and noticed that my tail gate was squeaking. To be honest the whole car squeaks and rattles.
So far both windows squeak, the back right corner rattles, all of the centre console creaks and so does the instrument cluster. Its probably due to the stiff suspenssion but i still love the car.

Ok i have my S back and it is squeak and rattle free. Yey! This most recent rattle was the fuel filler nozzle which was loose and has been tightened up. Hope my little list of noise related problems helps.
