Anyone got an idea with how much petrol left does the warning light come on? I checked the manual but it doesn't give any figures. My fuel consumption is quite good, 1st tank: 8,3l per 100km (combined cycle). cheers

I usually fill up when the warning light comes on and get about 40/41 litres or just over in. The tank is a 50 litre tank so should have about 9 litres left which would be good for about 60 miles.

Hi Freestyle
I think the tank is a 45L one?? so just be careful, so maybe only about 30 miles.

It might be worth looking in your handbook,I wouldn,t expect British cars to be different from others but you never know.

Dear SJ
The Petrol Light is conservative (mine anyhow), my last 2 tanks I filled up immediately after it came on and the one time it took 37.8L & the last time 38.5L, so ya, one should be able to do quite a bit more distance once the light has come on...but dont be too brave, cheers

BP cleaner unleaded (heavy metal free stuff), I used to use Sasol (where does one find the Turbo unleaded?) I've never heard of it, only the Dual fuel stuff, is it new? I've just heard & read about the negative effects of heavy metals in new car engines (dunno if its just b*llsh*t), how have you found it? cheers

I accidently found out about this stuff before they started running the ads Turbo Unleadedwas never impressed with the DualFuel, but i put this in my last Corsa ('03 1.6 Sport) and found that it idled a little smoother and in the upper rev range it seemed happier. Have only had the ST for about 3 weeks now and haven't tried anything else yet.
