so i had the test drive in both, please bare with me.

The fiesta st was brill, loved the feel through the steering wheel, fantastic seats, gives you a huge hug, loved the acceleration gives in my opinion a really lovely not as the revs rise up. such a joy to put through into the next gear as its such a short shift even shorter than i was expecting!!! (lol nearly pushed it into cd player) such a sharp handler went down some a roads and there was next to no body role just stayed lovely and flat all the way through!!! i was really really impressed with it as a hole, handeling, sound, price, gadgets, cost etc.........but then something dreadful happened.........

i got into a focus st!!!
it was like nothing else 6th gear 50 mph foot down n i just shot off with a sweet whistle form the turbo, no lag what so ever...honestly its amazing how quick you get up to seventy in that you hardly notice it....one of the best things about it thoough is the growl it makes when you start it up..and get speed up!!!

couple of things i noticed though...i dont know weather i was imagining it but the fez seemed slightly flater through the corners??? obviously the focus is quiter with the aid of 6th...i liked in the fiesta that you could tootle along normal 30mph thn put your foot down if you wanted some extra horses, but the focus just seemed to want to GO all the time even with my foot lightly on the throttle!!

so all in all a graet run in both but i really do like the little fez and was not dissapointed at all!! cheers 4 readin!

when both were put through their paces by Ford the fiesta was almost as quick around a track as the focus.
Interesting review - I really thought you would be won over when you drove the focus but clearly not.

i love the fact that the fiesta surpries u just how good it is round the corners, and how there is good performance is there if you want it, because in real life no one really drives to work with a clear road in front of them that they can boot it on so whereas the focus is fantastic in the power i think id be dissapointed how much i wouldnt get to use it how id like (track days maybe) but i still did love it dont get me wrong.
