Had my back 3 windows tinted last week. Very happy with the results. What do you all think?

Not bad at all mate - I'm a bit sceptical when it comes to tints, you see it far too much on clapped out 3-series Beemers and the like! But it does look cool on the ST, I think it works.....

Looks good Freestyle. I'm not a huge fan of tinting per se but it works well with the colour of your car. I don't reckon it'd look so good on white or silver STs though.

What's that URL sticker you've got below the rear wiper?

Out of interest Freestyle, where abouts did you get your tints done? I'm having the factory tints done when I get the car, although I've been told that they're not that great. I might get them done again in the future, perhaps a bit darker.

looks gr8 Freesyle - does it make a huge difference when driving (vision wise)? what gradient did you have put on ? dont know if its the pic but have you changed your grey plastic/mesh to black ?

no, it does look better than i thought it would. i did see a silver one like it too - looked pretty good, but the tint was lighter - was the official ford privacy glass.

Im unsure about Tinting sometimes, but it looks very nice on your car. Im quite suprised as when i saw that Modified Blue i didn't like them... I think they do quite well with the "standard"

To be honest they might be a little dark for my liking but everyone is different...

According to the place that did the tints for me, the shade is similar to what manufacturers refer to as "Privacy Glass". When I bought ine, the dealer already had the car in stock so I didn't get the chance to order it as an option. However I think the job has been done well.

There was 1 shade darker than mine which is the Limo Tint. As for lighter shades I think there were either 2 or 3 shades between the one I had and what the car comes with as standard. Dark smoke I am lead to believe it's called!

It certainly makes a difference in this weather!! As for visibility in the car, it's not as dark as you might think. Just like looking through sunglasses and it's still ok at night.

The sticker under the wiper is from the company that did them which is www.tintr.co.uk They are in Nottingham.

Forgot to add - The grey mesh bits are still grey, must just be the lighting in the pics.

Part of the reason for having them done was for when I am carrying kit in the boot and have to take the shelf out due to the height of the bags. With the tints the stuff is no longer on display, that;s why I went for a dark one.

Looks good congrats, my initial impression was that they are too dark but some of that might be down to the camera & lighting.
