Elliot it's not too difficult to do. Just takes practice. This was done walking around the car with a flash gun and then using my stip light for the highlight. Bit of work in photoshop to merge it all together and job done. Took about 2 hours from leaving the house to posting it on here.

As for which camera if it's just snapshots a compact will do. You can do arty things with a compact but it's more difficult. To do things like above you really need a dslr. The base models from canon or nikon will do.

Shes so fluffy And quite small as shes an indoor cat. I was at my mums yesterday and see my old cat and he looked huge!
