Jesus, some of you guys have nothing on me. I'll be washing mine and then driving nearly 300 miles down very very early on the Sunday morning to get there! I will try and get mine looking as good as I can, but I'm sure it might be a little dirty by the time I'm in Huntingdon.

Im sure we can get it all shiny Chris (Weather Permitting)

I'm looking at doing a full valet on the Saturday follwed up by a couple of touch ups when we get there - what products are people taking there for their finishing touches?

Probably take bottle of spray on wax out of the garage, don't normally use it but would be handy just to shine it back up

hahaha there great

had to make sure it wasn't bin day!

mine will get a full valet the day before and then a quick wax when i get to huntingdon. though i do need to get my bumper repaired soon (someone hit it in a car park, not much damage though)

How you guys washing it there. Do you have water supplies in your boot or something lol

They have taps at the event, They get quite busy very early but by about 9 most people are washing their cars so the q's have gone.

ha thats amazing!
maybe i'll bring a bucket lol.

It might be worth me bringing my car cleaning stuff down with me from Cumbria on the Sunday then.

I usually take half of halfords with me... pretty much two things for every job but tbh I think i'll just take a bucket, spongue, leather and maybe a bit of polish+wax with me on the day... probably won't bother polishing or waxing but always handy just incase Oh... and tyre shine too... can't forget that.

Also, as there are hundreds of the general public taking pics of our cars, some of us take our 'show plates' to put on once we are there.

This is a personal preference.

I'd like to get some more plates made up tbh not for the fact of hiding my reg but to show i'm part of the club more

I'm not sure if i'm getting plates for this year. There is a car i see most days which spells micky It's on a silver jag.

Need to find somewhere to put my site stickers first.
