hi
Im new to the site, had a st about a year now and love it. Got miltek flexi pipe, 57i kit, de cat, magnex cat back, magncor leas kv85s and lowered 35mm had it on rolling road and got 161 bhp on awsome gti rollers well its fiest ford iv had and well it put my 106 gti to sham i think thats all i need to say it a ace little car and realy gose well round some of the track that iv been to. next mod is cams and a re map any body got any good ideas for whitch cams to go for?

hi welcome to the site, glad you're enjoying the ST. COuldn't advise on cams, speak to the specialists if I were you, don't know that there's many with cam upgrades that I know of

It depends on what sort of driving you do; if you're after a track weapon then go for it! However, with cams there is always the risk of going for too much power. Just be careful that you don't get caught in the trap of high end power at the expense of low end grunt

Personally, before getting any engine work done I'd dump the flexi in favour of a full manifold and maybe modify the cat for a more free flowing unit but be careful that you still meet emissions regs

Well thanks for the help people but just to let let you no, iv just ordered my cam's. I went for the kent cams now just got to save up for the re map think im going to take it to pumabuild for that.
