Hi All,

Bit miffed, would appear that someone has taken a liking to my front towing eye cover!!

They have even left me their finger marks as a kind gesture!!

Anyone know how much to replace this from Ford and will it come painted (pf blue)

Front towing eye cover?!?! Must have been knicked for jokes. For the sake of £3.49 they've stolen yours. They need their hands chopping off. Sorry mate.

Have just bought one for a mates fiesta, newer shape but diesel different to the st, £4.21 and come primed not painted.

Went to Ford today, price for painting the towing eye cover.......

£25

So thanks to someone taking a liking to the cover would cost over £30 with vat to replace!!

However TeamTorquesteer do one painted for £16 painted so gonna try them, only down side is delivery is 14-28 days.

Pop some blue insulation tape over the hole in the meantime to protect from the dirt and stuff. It should be kind to the surrounding paintwork.

Very strange... my towing eye cover looked as tho it had been messed with the other day. Is wasn't clipped in right, I thought on the day 'oh it must have come loose or something' but now reading this I am wondering if someone tried nicking it and got distrubed or something...

Can't have nothing these days without someone going out of their way to ruin your enjoyment.

I agree with ST06, they should have their hands chopped off.
