After the great response last year, I've spoken to to Scotty and he's endorsed the idea again for the 'Donation Challenge'. I'm off to the U.S in May 28th to fly our flag in the Pac Man ring.

Thanks to the guys on this site, this raised nearly £100 for the British Heart Foundation, fantastic !
I'm at another fundraiser on March 7th & 8th called
Byte Back and they're raising funds for the Donna Louise Trust and the RSPCA. If any of you are 'into' Retro gaming, get a ticket on the link provided (if you live nearby) and I'll have a chat to you on the Saturday. I'm playing 'live' and showing some techniques after a Q&A session, so, you may see me make a few mistakes !

Anyway, here's the idea from last year, same this year guys and once again, thanks in advance for your participation.
It’s not long before I start my preparations for the Funspot XI tournament in the U.S
I am trying to raise as much money for charity and a percentage will go to this site, so, the idea is as follows –
The highest possible score on the classic arcade game Pac Man is 3,333,360.
My 1983 score is 3,221,000 and this is my target to beat in on June 1st.
Please sponsor me for EVERY million I score (eg - £1 per million) or however much you would like to donate. My charity is the British Heart Foundation.
It promises to be a great time, so for all the fun of classic arcade gaming will transfer into money for a great cause. I have liased with Scotty and Chris on this and they have endorsed the idea.
Once the trip is over, I will send Scotty the video files and all correspondence associated with this for you to see, so please join me and we’ll not only have a laugh, but support a great cause.
Once again, thanks.

Jon.
