my festers front bumper got hit this mornin , no visibl damage from outside ,is there anything immediately behind that could have got damaged? thanks

depends how hard and fast, i hit someone in the back in my zetec s, it poped my bumper out and snapped a couple brackets but also bent the slam pannel

They are designed to pop back out at impacts below 3MPH.

You may want to check the crash tubes haven't deployed.

Follow the chassis rail along to the front of the car in the engine bay and you will see a seperate piece bolted on at the end, make sure both sides match.

hi there,me again.i had a thorough look & there is no real damage. there is a faint mark, but you can only see it within arms reach.

i managed to make mark fainter by just rubbing using water & a rag.is there a polish for the paint used on the bumper? thx

Use Autoglym Super resin Polish. About 6 quid from any decent motor place/garage. Helps bring out the shine and protects the paint.
Great on small blemishes as it adds a shiny layer to your body paint so marks arent as visible frfom up close and almost disappear from distance.
