Right, is it just me that this thing doesn't seem to work properly for? I'm not talking about using it to upload my own pics (I still use Photobucket) but I mean to be able to see pics which people have uploaded with it.

I find that whenever I view a post where someone has used it to upload pics, I get the dreaded red crosses. Normally, I'd right click, properties, then copy and paste the URL into the address bar and hey presto. Not with these though, when I paste the fiesta.mediahoard.whatever URL into the address bar, it then brings up a file download box. I click open and it thinks a bit, but nothing happens. I then have to re-paste the image URL into the address bar before the pictures eventually appear.

To quote Lou from Little Britain, its a bit of a kerfuffle really. Is this how its meant to work, or am I doing something wrong? I can appreciate that if you're the one that's actually uploaded the pics then you can probably see them without any difficulty, but does anyone else have to bugger about like this just to see a few pictures?

I suspect you need to configure your firewall software to allow fiesta.mediahoard.com
It certainly should work fine and that isn't right but it is a local issue to your machine I'm afraid. What browser are you using?

Fair comment, cheers for getting back so quickly Hugh. My computer seems to attract viruses like a magnet so I do tend to keep the security settings fairly high. I use either Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox 5 and get the same problem in both.

The uploader won't work with Firefox which is an arse as it's what I use.

Have you adjusted the firewall and has it worked?

I did lower the overall security setting but it didn't help the situation. I'll have a look into how I can add the fiesta.mediahoard.com to my trusted websites or something. I use McAfee Internet Security.

I'll see if I can get any info for you as well.
