Front strut brace will never ruin the handling unless it's loose.

They're a good mod.

smart, easy job then ? do you have to support the struts or can you just undo the nuts and slip it under.

Thanks Steve! Yep is a very easy job. Only 4 of the 6 nuts undo then just simply slip over the bolts and tighten & adjust the tension bolt, JOB DONE!. The hardest bit was undoing the nuts in the first place.

Just undo and slip it under.

It's important to make sure the nuts are re-tightened to the correct torque though.

I'll find out what it is and let you all know Monday

Must I lower my ST before I can install a strut or will I get benefits from installing one with the basic suspension without being lowered? I don't really want my car lowered as I like it looking basic on the outside.

I'm off to pick up a strut brace hopefully on sunday so I'll try and do a comparison for you. Regarding getting the car lowered, I personally think that standard it looks too high. Most people have dropped their 35mm which is how I think they should have come out of the factory. Mine is down 45mm and I'm very impressed with the new springs. The ride is far better and the car is more stable when cornering. Just my opinion
