I doubt you will have much gunk inside a 2008 ST as it won't have done enough miles or if you've been using good fuel that would keep it clean.

These are OK for 100,000 mile plus cars.

I doubt it'd even help being only one year old, just an excuse to get more money out of you.

i always believed that you never did a flush unless a specific reason, all the gunk in there helps to lubricate and keep the engine quiet too !

say no

I don't think a flush cleans the injectors !!!!!!!!!!!!!good petrol does that does it not, in any case to clean them I assume they have to come out ?

are you all sure, ive already said i will have it done, is it not worth it? the women said to me its better to do it now while its still new:s she said what they do also lowers the emmisions, i think this is only for odler cars am i right? so the stupid cow just offers it everyone to get more money out of them?

eh when they change oil that will get rid of most in any case, its a new car not an old banger that is smoking, the best thing for an engine and to clear it is to run it regulary, particulary a good blast at high speeds (M/Way).
Pushing for money don't do it. Quality oil changes and regular running is sufficent.
I was not asked on first service.

unless for example you have blown you engine up and there is a need to clear the sump of metal and water or whatever, all you need is an oil change, check your dipstick, is the oil clear of metal or any yellowy gunge, dark it might be otherwise its fine.
