Hello all.
I am currently looking for some car mats for my ST.
Does anybody know where i can pick a decent set up, preferably with ST sewn into them, or how much did you guys pay for yours if they didnt come with the car?
Cheers

Hey Tommy!

There are quite a few places that will do some nice mats. I believe do the stitched ones, but are quite expensive.

I love my OEM rubber mats. They're durable, not smelly like cheaper ones, and I clean them with the jet washer and they dry very quickly and look very professional.

I may be putting mine up for sale if you're interested. Think they are £55 new from Ford. Black with a blue stripe around the outside, nice quality, good condition. This should be in the lot section really but you posted before I had chance to do it

Will put an ad on "the lot" section now to make it official!

How did you get 2 mat clips!?

I've got one on the drivers side but I'd like to purchase another. I have spaces to fit two on the passenger side too!

I'll buy 3 but where can you get them from!? :S

many thanks to whoever can let me know

Got two on my drivers side! Unless one of yours broke off??? As for the passenger side the got the wholes but dont come as standard.
I think they put them on the drivers side to stop the mat from riding under the pedals??? But i might be wrong.

I've got one on mine ...can't see evidence of it breaking off!

yeah passenger side is an extra. but I guess I have to see a Ford dealer for them?

Yes you are right they stop the mat from going behind the pedals. A great, safe feature for a car!

My mats go under my pedals, only after my gf has been driving though

You need a bracket for each side/footwell that holds the mats down.

I just ordered 1 more clip so I'll have 2 for my drivers mat footwell
There is cut-outs in the carpet for 2 clips to fit for the passenger side footwell! But I don't have the holes in the mat and my friends don't kick that mat about at all so I decided not to order 3 lol. My mats stick down to the carpet quite well in mine anyway. Good quality mats Ford!

(Guys check to see if you have cut out holes in the passenger footwell if you are thinking of doing that little handy mod to keep the mats in place!)

So we're talking about 40-50 quid from main dealer then?

I've paid £2 pound for a clip so that's pretty reasonable

£40-£50 is a bit much for mats aye? :S
