Well... today I seen a van come down the road with what looked like loads of camera on each edge of it but I thought, i'm just imagining they are cameras, they are probably lights or something.

Well... a bit later in the day a few hours after seeing it I spotted it back down the road so I went to have a look and sure enough it was a DVLA Van with cameras on posting a letter through a neighbours door. I managed to scramble around and get my camera on just quick enough to catch them going back past.

My neighbour has obviously been naughty and 10 minutes later he moved the car from just outside of his house onto the drive... It's still considered a public road obviously so I bet he got fined.

They will have done, and unless it's been declared as SORN'd then it's an irrelevance as to whether or not it's on the drive or on the roadway anyways.

Thought they were looking for uninsured/taxed cars.

As if they can get people for parking. Soon you'll park to drop someone off and get a fine for it.

Parking on the road when you have said the car is off the road is an offence...
Someone had half their car hanging off their designated parking space and got a fine as it was declared as off the road...so they cut their car in half and told them to take the offending half away

If you look, the van belongs to the greedy idiots at NCP! No wonder they're going through small residential areas looking for cars.

I agree that NCP car parks are a rip-off. To be fair though, if someone has declared their car off the road, and is using it, or hasn't paid their tax then they deserve to be fined really. (I know we don't know the circumstances here, and it may be that they've paid their tax, but just forgot to put the new disc in or something, which is still an offence).

Too right... it's awful... more than awful it makes the road untidy... There's loads of nice cars including My RS, a Saab Aero, Beema M3, Lexus, Beema M5 and X3, Leon Cupra, and 2x C2 VTS (ok lol they are still good for young lads) and then a bloody Micra lol.

Those Micras really are horrid. I can't understand why anyone would want to part with cash to get one.

I really hate it when people start to compare the sidelights on Micras and MK6.5 Fiestas, they're nothing alike with absolutely nothing in common!
