Scotty how much furthur north are you thinking?

You know me i don't mind driving hours for a meet but have got Cas and the kids to think about and it's not fair on them to drive for a few hours just for a few hours meet. Remember the christmas meet a few years ago.

I reckon we could push it up to just north of the M4 on the A34. I know it's not much but will take alot of the cross counrty out of it. Somewhere around beedon? (that would take me an hour to get to) Don't know that area so not sure of any pubs but sure there will be a few. Also concerned about others that havn't been to a meet before. You know how hard it has been in the past to get people to travel to a meet and come away from their own back yards. I'm sure it won't be the case this time but i would like to keep traveling times reasonable.

I want to include as many people as possible but you can never please everyone.

Scotty if you are happy to travel that far can you let me know asap. Trying to sort this on a short time scale and want to get it right

TBH i think with the people around your local area and the long stretch down for me which would be 88mil each way I'm going to have to give it the chop. It would cost me around £35 in petrol and also i'm waiting for my 2nd set of tyres to arrive... they won't be in stock for another 3 weeks so prob best to leave it in your yard and catch you up at FITP

I had a feeling that it would be the case. I can't really blame you i know what it's like with the pennies are tight. It's only an extra month till fitp and i'm sure that will make up for it

Are people happy to meet at the origional pub on sat 18th at about 1-1:30pm?

That way people can have lunch before and just have a drink/snack food at the pub.
