Jim I know it was commisioned by Ford, the point I was trying to make was that it wasn't done in house therefore there is a lot less control as to it's content. I used to work in a department here where some work was commissioned out and it was never quite what we wanted so we brought it all in house.

It's a red herring guys. Ford have just sent out an email, and I quote, "We'll be revealing more about the new Fab Four on their very special website very soon".

They're still talking about four cars, and there is more to reveal (what could that be, all the info on the ST and Zetec S is already out there?).

Ford are very unpredictable.

I was talking to a friend whos just joined a car design business and he talked about lots of designs and testings for a Fiesta Cosworth... as we all know very unlikely but its nice to know things are still being done!!!

Dave how did you get signed up to an email update from Ford? They are sporadic for me to say the least!

Scrub that, I've got the mail too. Was checking the wrong mailbox.

That email has still come from a 3rd party, not directly Ford although obviously it must've been approved in some shape. The question is is it being done as a part of shadow IT or as a direct feed?

No one will know but i got the E-mail at like 8pm or something? Strange for a company to send that late?

Automated mail Scotty - will have been deliberately sent at a time like that when the mail server is at its most dormant...

No sense in sending it during business hours when:

a) everyday e-mail is passing round
b) it costs more

Has anyone had anyluck downloading the screensaver?

I click on it and a window pops up briefly but nothing happens

Try using Firefox or Opera. Windows Service Pack 2 prevents stuff like that now! :P
