How big is the camera? Wedge it under your headrest and use the zoom

You get this type of film

Shall have to try that
If I put it too close to the windscreen it just focuses on the heating strips for the windscreen

Did you see how I mounted all my cameras Adam?

I've nearly done the FITP Convoy Vid now so you'll be able to see all the different angles from that.

Under the headrest is one... but i can't in my so getting a tripod, putting the seat belt around it and pulling it nice and tight is another trick or if you want to do it properly then get a proper camera mount that sticks to your windscreen.

not sure about direct mount to the dash but there are suction mounts that can be fixed to the windscreen,, i have a "super clamp" roll cage mount that can fix to a head rest support or similar.

got my camera gear from these guys.

Yes, they will record in VOB and have supporting BUP AND IFO files. The VOB is the file that is the most important as it contains all the movie data.

You will need to have a converter to be able to put them into an AVI or Windows Compatible Movie File.

You can get trial software to do this but it will watermark your video and it's horrid. I have WinAvi that I use for the videos I do from Kevin's Disc Camera but it cost £25 to purchase.

I can convert them for you but I guess the files will be pretty big!

If you want me to convert it for you then just send me a DVD with all the files on it.

If your coming to Renault day I can bring my laptop and convert it for you there and then if you wish.
