ok as you know bought some new ones and had them sprayed by Ford. Had a look underneath and getting the originals off and seems all to much like hard work . The clips can not be removed by finger force and one of the top two clips is hidden behind an inner bumper skin, the ones at side are hard to get to also. So who has removed these and how is best way, if I manage to unclip one or two will the others pop off especialy the ones that I can't get to? why does it have to be so hard.

Steve done these when i sprayed mine! Very easy to take off....What i used was a pair of pliers to squeeze the clips together then push the clips and unit forward, Then they just pop out. Hope this helps. Patience young Jedi.

you will need a primer and a lacquer also, someone else will advise better than me because I am lazy and pay ford to do it. Fronts, undo the one screw and off they come, the screw has a plastic sleeve on the rear so catch that when it falls off, stick you head under and you will see it. Be careful with the clips on the silver bezels, prize them carefully and they will pop off.

Don't know if you have to lacquer because the silver you do and the red you don't
