Hi all,

I know there are always posts coming up about insurance but just wondered if anyone knew of good / cheap insurance companies that don't mind, or at least don't discriminate regarding modifications? My warranty is up in August and I fancy a few mods to increase the power .

I'm 24 and will have 6 years NCB (touch wood) when my policy runs out in a few days. I'm currently with Tesco who have quoted me £714 for next year (paying monthly) but I'm not sure what they are like when it comes to modifications.

Any help much appreciated as always.

Cheers,

Lee

Cheers all. The quotes you get online often have a condition that there is only 1 driver (me). Is there always an option to add a second driver with the above insurers? (I assume there will be?)

should be, I just knocked AF down by £60 by phoning around and asking them to match, very unusual for AF to do this, but they did and retained my business.

£700 with 6 years NCB... bloody ell!!! I'm paying a couple of hundred more for my with 0 NCB.

Swinton are great for cheap insurance... try them... unsure about mods but they might save you a load of cash.

I forgot to mention that I currently have my Mum on my policy, I have one speeding conviction and I also need business use for going between workplaces.

Perhaps not such a bad deal after all?

Thanks for all the suggestions - will get through trying them all
