ok guys heres my take on renault day and some of you will probably moan as there is not many photos of the cars (in fact there is only 5 and they are at the end) but i thought i would write this from a different point of view.
Rather than just being a load of people that meet to talk about cars everynow and then, i am going to try and portray the more social aspect of the group.
So anyway after an early start for me and a slight detour across the dartford bridge and then back through the tunnel, Myself , Morris etc, Kenny, Adam, Lana, Jenna, Camden and George arrived at our final meet point (newport pagnell services) to meet Dan.

some pics of our cars.

PS this is camdens not Scotts!!

So anyway back to the tale... after some quick greetings we set off for silverstone - Untill we came off the m1 that is..... in the end it was around 2 hours to get from the m1 to silverstone.. the amount of people heading in the same direction was unreal.

After our two hour crawl to the site we were happy to eventually find the guys hiding in a corner cameras at the ready.

unfortunately some of us were more interested than others (sorry jenna i couldnt resist)

Scott and Bex trying to get that perfect shot

eventually i got spotted taking all these photos... so the honour was returned (this were all done at the same time)

after a short while it was decided we would break for lunch, which meant a nice walk for me, Dan and Kenny to the nearest burger stall. £6.80 for a cheeseburger and a bottle of coke!
so anyway by the time we had got back most people were finishing eating

By this point the sun had stopped hiding and the full power was unleashed onto us unsuspecting people.

Thanks to the sun i think morris may have gone a bit loopy!

The afternoon involved lots of shots of the track and a walk around the current offerings from renault though i think we all agree (apart from craig) we are quite happy with ford.
The trip home was a bit manic as we learned there had been an accident on the m1 southbound so we ended up going via the m40 which pretty much took everyone (me, Dan etc and adam etc) the wrong way home. In the end we all made it back and i think it was worth it, though i could have skipped the sunburn.

So anyway although in places everyone did do there own things i think all in all it was a great day with great company. I shall never forget the look on the girls faces after riding the waltzer

so as promised some shots of the cars (i took a lot more than this but as i mentioned before its not always about cars!)

what a lovely site to come back too
