Evening all, after fitting my new K&N 57i kit at the weekend i noticed today that my stereo keeps asking me for a code ( after i disconnected the battery ) before it will work.

Is this code unique to me and if so where am i likely to find it? Will it or should it be with all the paperwork that i got for the car or is it secreted somewhere about the car?

Thanks

Adam

On mine, the key code was given on a piece of card which you tore out of the last page in the owners manual, and which it advised to NOT keep in the car with the manual.

If you can't find it anywhere, then if you go to a dealership with proof of ownership then they will be able to look on the database and tell you what it is.

Should be with the paperwork, or inside the radio booklet, service book, if not you will need the serial number off your radio, can get it from ford.
