after a trip to the beach last week i have a car full of sand

does anyone have a nack to getting it out the carpet?

i've hoovered it and some came out

then used a nail brush to try and lift the rest out but its like its taking the carpet with it, its gone super fluffy and looks weird

any ideas

Me and my girlfriend sat in my boot and wiped our feet off first before getting in the car...

Some of my mates are like that, does my head in. I tell him i'll treat his guitars like that next time I see them.

My tip for sorting this is, get yourself some autoglym interior shampoo (you can pick it up from Halfords): http://www.autoglym-shop.com/?gclid=CLLhwJDV3JsCFY4U4wodKxSqAQ

Bash the mats until the lose sand falls off, then hose your mats off. Spray them with the cleaner and leave for a few minutes to soak in. Then spray again until the cleaner comes out and hang them up to dry. That works for getting old dust off, should hopefully work for sand.
