Good news, couldnt find a zetec s so its going to be an ST
Phoned up the insurance company and its only 1100 under my dad which is 200 more than my 1.2 so my 18th will be good.

Insurance company for the bike said that the insurers dont care about penalty points because police are just out to get you so if its reasonable they dont bother with your amount.. just a thing to bare in mind

Cool. Just take it steady, show that you're mature enough to drive one and everyone will be behind you buddy!
You'll love the difference right away!

It sucks being young if you are a good driver. By good I mean safe.

I was 17 paying £1700 on a 1.1 litre saxo, drove that for 5 years before I could get a decent car. Good luck getting your NCB up.

OUCH! FOR A SAXO!?

I was 17 and had £1300 on my old MK3 Fiesta 1.3 Ellise and that actually did go pretty quick when there was just one person in the car! lol

But sorry to hear that bud! ...must be because a lot of 'rude boi's' drive saxos so they push up the insurance. (no offence intended to you )

Ha, I know what you mean when you say pretty quick with one person in, the saxo 1.1 is such a light car. Just a shame that the engine, steering, seats, stereo, brakes, suspension, pedals and build quality were crap.

It didnt have a rev counter either, just a f****** clock, and I dont mean a digital clock, an official circle with hands and everything, absolute lolmobile.

*Edit*

Kaxe if I see you on your drive I will say hello, I've switched jobs so i'll be driving past your house every day (seen your car out front)

Well... my first car didn't have any clock, analogue or digital, no rev counter either, only four gears... and a choke. I loved that car at the time though.

Had a red one out on monday for a test but the dealer was raking it home so didnt fancy it...
Its a scary different between it and a 1.2 it accelerates soo quick but handles the same the semi bucket seats are my fav
Just looking for a nice one to come along and il snap it up.

While on the topic of safe drivers, my friend rolled his car 3 times in the space of 300m last night got out and walked away but his corsa is a match box now
