Yes you need sound because you have to set all the sliders to get the highest pitch (not necessarily the highest point on the slider). Then you can open the radio for more goodies!

I've got nowhere on this. Found the little tube under the buttons inside the left hand hole, picked up the button near the chair and that's as far as I've managed to get!
