How big/deep is the scratch?

You can get specialist glass polish but it's a pain to use and can easily make the glass go cloudy.

I've tried glass polish before and i've never managed to remove scratches in the glass. Even RAC Windscreens say they can't do anything and the glass has to be replaced. Maybe the buffers detailers use might help but because there is a layer of plastic it might not work.

see attached pic, not good eh !

these on on the outside, long lines down the window caused by the clim air deflectors, obviously I couldn't see them behind the reflector, if I had they would have been off on day one.

Yep I know some products can make it worse, just going to try and dull it down a little.

what about autoglass or something?

they can fix chips, they may be able to fill in scratches too.

The stuff we use at Jaguar is called 'Jewellers Rouge' Steve, this is verrry expensive stuff. It's a paste that you mix with a tiny amount of water and rub in the glass with a special foam pad.

Come along to Trax, you might get some for free.

just tried TCut, tiny tiny bit better on the lighter scuffs but the rest is proper grained in lines so gonna need jewellers Rouge or something.
What about Autosol I have some, will try it anyway, how do I use Walnuts ?

chaps, suggest you all closely inspect your windows right in behind the upright air deflector, in fact you might have to take it off to see.

Believe me Steve, Jewellers rouge is what 'Pilkington' use, and they should know.
