It's about time that we stood up to these dealerships and stopped them from fobbing us off once we have signed on the dotted line.

Did the dealership go out their way to help you? not without making a fuss the 2 weeks after I got the car about getting it sorted and lending me a replacement

Please leave extra comments here: The ordering was great and the car delivered earlier with good update. othere than a mini row over a leaky PS tank 2 weeks in and the need for them to fix it withing 2 days and lend me a car (i was going on a driving holiday!) and a debate over the need to change the GEM unit for the alarm fault (cheers to posts here and STOC which won the case that Ford had issued it as a fault!)

The service counter did have the advantage of a very nice young lady with great legs who was often on duty

Would you consider buying another car from this dealership? If so why? Yes, Gates always gave me a good service, both for sales and service. The salesperson remembered my name from the first car I brought from him, even though 5 years had passed. Under warrenty, they always looked at my car and were willing to resolve any issues. The mechanics had a good knowledge and on 2 occasions went out of thier way to help, once fitting the 3.5mm jack for my ipod for free and secondly allowing me to use their workshop when a rat made its home in my engine.
Please leave extra comments here: Ok, their prices were not the `best` on the market but the fact that they always call back, repairs are completed in a good time frame and always had a personal service, I am glad I payed slightly over the odds.

Please leave extra comments here: The sales person was helpful and always contactable. The services department was very lacking, anything required usually took 2+ weeks. However positive was they replaced my seat catch under warranty although did originaly order wrong part.

Info: This dealership is now Bristol Street Ford as brooklyn ford went into administration at the end of june.

Please leave extra comments here: I have been using this dealership for the past 8years and would definately buy from them again even though their price for my ST was higher than my local dealer (Hendy Ford) who I would never buy another car from no matter how much of discount they gave me! Daron Ford fitted side stripes 2 months after purchase, no charge and fitted ipod connection into glove box at same time, also no charge. Excellent service dept and no hassle from sales team. Hard to believe I know but a really good dealer.
