hey,

gave the engine bay a wee clean yesterday, bought autoglym engine cleaner,
it wirks really well, all the parts cleaned up.

the block was slightly brown and dirty, sprayed that stuff on and it came up like new, engine bay is gleaming.

how long did it take you to do?
what did you used to clean it with? (sponge, cloth..........)

im cleaning my car tommorrow and might as well do the engine too if the weather holds up.

used a brush to loosen everything up, cloth for wiping excess and air compressor for blow drying and getting in the difficult bits.

didnt take long to do, maybe an hour max, worked on everything.

in between the rocker cover, where the leads are was very dirty and gunky, now its immaculate.

just what i was thinking!!!

haha, ye, just get a screwdriver or something long and wrap a cloth around it.

that should work to make sure engine is dried out and that all the dirt is gone.
