Hello all!
A quick question for you...I'm very interesting in getting my name on the waiting list for the Fiesta RS. I haven't done that for a car before, how do you go about doing it? Just call a local dealer? How can I find out if one has been started already or when it does get started? Also what obligations do you have once your name is on a list...can you cancel at anytime, etc.

There is NO list at the moment m8 and u CANNOT put ur name down for the car as it hasn't been announced for production yet so u will just have to sit tight like the rest of us until they do announce it.

Also you will have to put a deposite down like any other car and if u cancel it... bye bye deposite but... because this car will be so damn wanted u will be able to get ur deposite back from another buyer taking ur position im sure of it.

So...

No waiting list
No the dealer doesn't know anything about it
No theres no prices or anything else
No u cannot get ur desposite once put down (when the lists open in a year or so)

You cannot put a deposit down on a car that hasn't been announced nor a price confirmed.

Some dealers may offer to take a deposit from you. This means nothing as the agreement wil be between you and the dealer, not between you and Ford - meaning that you are on no official waiting list and if the dealer doesn't get allocated any cars, you won't get one.

The best thing to do is register your interest on the Ford website here: http://www.fiestasportseries.com as the more hits/responses they get will go further to justify the cars creation.

For the RS, Ford will probably operate a central waiting list rather than each dealer having stock. Therefore, giving a dealer money now is pointless until Ford open up their books.

The ST is a full production model so there shouldn't be a waiting list.
