How much do you guys think i could get for my 08 57 plate ST with the below spec? Apparently turbo cars like the RS get better economy than N/A cars of sime size/power but how will RS compare to ST for fuel when driven steady?

The ST is overly thirsty IMO for the performance you get out of it.
My mate had better economy out of his Astra VXR

You'd probably get £7 - £7.5k trade in for your car, best thing to do though is ask around

Loc: South Yorkshire.
Thats shocking trade in value.
For that car i would of thought you maybe pay £1000 towards it.
Didnt know garaged ripped you off so much, suppose thats how they make their money.

I got about £7k for mine, lost £6k in two years, depreciation was pretty bad, couldn't have got much more privately

All you can do is ask in the locals, if they feel there is demand they will give you a better price. Chances are they would market it around £8 - £8.5k so they're never going to give you what you think it's really worth.

You will get better trade in value at the moment, ford garages are very hungry for stock according to my local dealer as they don't have any in the network. My local is selling an 08 standard model with 8,000 miles for £10,500 at the moment! You should get far better prices than people have mentioned if you are part ex'ing. Just give garages a go and see what they can offer
