Well, here they are everyone, the pics that you've all been eagrly awaiting.

I shall put a 30% image up and if you wish to have a look at the full size version then simply click on the link below the picture and it will show up with the full size picture, just a warning though, the full size picture will be large in screen size and also large in file size.

*Warning, some pictures may appear dark on your monitor, this means your settings are a little dark... lighten them up and the pics will be properly visible*

I must thank everyone who came to the Meet and Photoshoot down the cotswolds, it was a brilliant weekend. I totally enjoyed myself and it was great that we did everything as a group, made it all the more fun and enjoying.

I appoligise for the little bit of faffing about that needed to be done to achieve the results that i was after in my photographs but you will all be able to see the results of the shoot below.

Thx again and i really hope more people see this thread and decide to come to the next event.

Enjoy...

Oooooohhhhhh the memories flood back! lol.

Some nice pics Scotty, I think in the end the ones in the field came out better.. those bridge shots look good, but they're not how I "pictured" them in my head... maybe we should email them to the Bourton on the Water Tourist Board LOL....

Well had a grea time. You wouldn't have expected a traffic jam in a country field though would you... some idiot in a Silver Focus just stopped for no reason whatsoever! HA HA

Photography is all to do with colour and shapes. I have not had one lesson in how to take a picture and have taught myself but as i say to everyone, i cannot learn if comments are not made. Thx for your honest opinion Chris, the problem with the second bridge shot was mainly the sun wasn't out and the bright colours were not shown to there full capacity. We were pretty lucky on weather really from the day before.

Maybe open a few pictures full size and add them as your desktop... they look FAR better then covering the whole screen, the small ones dont do them much justice!

The field pictures look really good as the ground is one colour and really makes the cars stand out, when i saw the field i knew it would be great to take shots in due to its colour

Comments welcome

Nope i know, as i said in MSN its all to do with how you look at the pics, everyone has different ways of doing this and tastes, or we would all be a very boring bunch... i need as much views and comments as possible to get better at my hobby.

P.S only because you have a PUMA

IMO, the pics in the field work better because the subject (the cars) are the main focal point of the pic. The ones on the bridge have some distractions (rippled water, trees, people, buildings etc). Just my opinion, I am no expert in photography, the pics still look cool.

They look very good Scotty, those field pics are nicely done

Heres a few I took quickly, I couldn't take many because it was raining half the time I was there!

(Do you remember how many bbq lighter blocks you used to light that!)

Scotty, those are really good... It looks like you had good fun also taking the ones in the field with the additional Puma, Focus and Escort too. Shame we could not stay longer with you guys.

As for comments for me it would have to go down to personal preferences as technically speaking I think I could not add much to what you already know...

I think it's visible on the bridge photos that we were in a rush. With more time we'd have been able to fine tune each shot and get down to details. I really like the first shot with the Aysha's and Chris's cars on the first bridge. As for my ST I like the photo but I think it would have looked better if I had closed my side window - just personal preference I suppose.

Keep taking pics mate, I think you're doing really good.

Thanks for some really good pics there Scotty mate, they really have been worth the wait

To be honest there isn't that much I can say that hasn't already been said. I tend to agree that the ones in the field work best, whether its because of the contrast between the cars, the yellow field and the backdrop I don't know - I'm no expert on photography.

That having been said, I don't want you to think I'm knocking the ones on the bridge. I do think they look good, maybe not as much as we would have liked. I think its a shame we were unable to get all three cars on the first bridge and had to rush as that would have been a good image. The colours stand out much brighter there than on the second bridge, posssibly the sun was brighter then (although I didn't recall it from the time), or maybe because the trees caused less shadows than at the second.

Thanx a lot Chris

Wow some really cool pics there scott! They're fantastic

To be honest i think i kind of prefer the bridge ones, like in the fifth one down, i just love the way you have the cars looking at the camera slightly off axis and the sun glinting off the water, thats such a great shot.

I dont find other things in the image distracting, they really add to the atmosphere of the image. A great set scott, well done

Didn't the rules say something about having to be aged over 25 to enter though chris?
