For illustration purposes... If driving with a normal diff fitted, in the wet & putting your foot down in a corner is 6/10 on the scary scale then with the Quaife fitted its about a 9 lol ... but like I say I dont take chances in the wet anyway

You wont feel or notice a difference just driving down the road normally but when you go to do something like hammer round a corner or if you aquaplane a little or just lose traction on one side then you will. Its the way the ATB diff works (howstuffworks.com will explain it!).. and why rally cars dont have them lol

I still say its an epic mod to do and if you can then do it but it is a lot of money and fairly scary thing to have the cars guts out as it were lol

Found most thanks Kaxe, from Denmark to Germany to the USA to the UK and in SA. It's just a major pain, and what makesi t worse is that people arent really forthcoming with any info. LIke gettin blood out of a stone.

Will be getting my Cossy Intake in 2 weeks, so that's a start.

Pinkrinse: Thanks for the info mate!
I'm still ummmming and ahhhhring about it
Because I just went out for a bash up to a property in the wet up to 70mph on a long road and I can handle my well now, so I'm just worried about having some trouble with the diff? That's all...
I'll have to think about it over xmas and get back to that chap on fstoc!

Drifter: Oh great mate! Yeahhhh they will not give out too much information on SC kits I'll tell ya ...they don't want to lose a penny by someone finding a cheaper way!

Thanks for the chat guys! Leave more info in this post about SC, Diff and Engine Light matters and I'll happily reply!

Give it break, it's almost Christmas and your engine light wants to join the party. My car is going into the stealerships tomorrow. Will post feedback if any.

lol yeah mine is a little bit of a tease...

It goes off when the car has had a good run in. Must be a TB thing. I might get it changed to the 60mm like you did Pink!
It's dirty and I want it SC'd anyway...

oh and another off topic thing but I noticed it earlier and thought it was cool: I love how our cars are so clever. I never knew if you open your boot just before you get out of your , lock the car, get what you want out of the boot and as you slam the boot shut the remembers you want it locked so there go the flashing lights and the mirrors come in... ohhhh I love Fiesta 's!

Interesting. So the Fezz went in with engine light on (P0172 - Too rich) error, BUT, they plugged it into the WDS system and it retirned P0172 E3. The E3 points to Unserviceable or incorrect fuel injectors. This is the thing, A) We have really really cr@p fuel in SA, B) A few months back I used 120Ron racing fuel at an event and got the mix wrong. My car was down on power and almost underiveable.

SO, Octane boosters and racing fuel are the culprit here.

They reckon the injectors are "dripping" at idle, causing my overfuelling.

New injectors next, but I will wait untill I can find Bosch 470cc ones for the charger. Any ideas btw where I can get?

Hope this helps.
