These seats came out of a crashed ST in which the passenger seat side airbag went off. I was told it seemed to be ok and got put back inside and got stitched up. I put the seats in the car today, looks great, nice warm bum but the airbag light is on in the dash.

My mate has code reader but it isnt showing anything. Even when the seats got disconnected, the light still came on!

Any advice??

Yes the airbag knows it has deployed.

You will need to change the airbag module in the seat for the one out of your old seats

Or, sorry, it could simply be that the seat connector has not connected properly, disconnect the connector and re-connect it a few time and make sure there's no debris in the connector.

If that doesn't cure it follow my post above
