Morning chaps, just left my car ( well at about 8:30 ish ) with a very decent garage near me to get my cars Full Service done.

Ive asked them also to fit my flexi pipe whilst theyre draining the oil etc and its up on the ramps.

How long should it take to complete these jobs do you think? Im just curious as im trying to work out what it should cost including labour and all that.

Ford quoted me £245+vat for a full service on an 06 plate ST and this garage has quoted £169.99+vat - and thats using all Ford parts too.

Is this a good price?

Thanks

Adam

I think that's the best you can get these days...

It depends if someone comes along with a better example?

Anyone?

Thats a very good price because my cars 3rd service cost about £300. The dealership I bought mine from is doing deals on services and came up with roughly the same price (£170ish) for a major service so I'd say you have a good deal

Evening all, it cost me £180 in the end including the service and fitting of the flexi pipe, so im rather pleased with that.

Bloody Ford as usual trying to rip me off with inflated prices!

Got the car back at about 13:30 this afternoon so they were pretty quick too - i was rather pleased to give them back the automatic VW van they lent me, that thing had some wickedly fierce brakes, i think they were off a 747 or something!

Did you get the original flexi that was fitted to your car off them, so making sure they have fitted the new one?

I know how some garages work.

should always keep your standard part. Either for when you sell to return to stardard or to sell the parts. I wish my next service will be that cheap. Even my deisel focus was more than that.
