This has been bugging me for a little bit now and I've only noticed it when I'm at a stop/idling. Every so often, 10-20 secs or so, there's a short sharp 'click' noise that sounds like it coming from the engine bay.

Anyone have any ideas about it? Also I notice today that the symbols around the light control were flickering on and off, anyone know why?

they do make a clicky ticking noise as the norm (pretty constant), if this is what this is, Air Con also is quite loud externally when the condenser thingy switches on/off (not constant).

Isn't it the throttle body resetting itself.

Wont be TB, only does that when you switch off after the fuel return.

I have had this noise on ALL of my 's including the one i have now.

At first, with my '06 it was back to the garage, and IIRC, it is only some sort of compressor.... Nothing to worry about.
