its looking rather unlikely now that my car will be making an appearance at FITP

i have a big problem with the throttle body, it doesn't read the air flow and the idle is all wrong, then if i don't continuously accelerate it flashes EAC fail on my dash and cuts all power

also my surprise of fitting a cossie inlet just before the show didn't go well and we just couldn't get it to fit properly. the weird thing is that this problem i have now is nothing to do with the inlet change as it is back to standard again but by taking the throttle body off and cleaning it it has broken and doesnt have a clue what its meant to be doing.

i have got my car booked in at ford the earliest they can do is friday so that looks like FITP is gonna be a big no no as if they need parts its gonna be monday before its fixed!

the list of parts i may need
throttle pedal sense £65
Throttle body £231
Air flow sensor £36
New part for ECU with fitting £700

i gotta now drive my car to ford which is gonna be fun as the only way to stop is take it outa gear and the only way to keep it running is to accelerate

i have changed my plans for the time being im gonna scrap the plan of the cossie inlet and supercharging as i just have lost faith in that cossie inlet and dont wanna do any major work to my car anytime soon, i will get a full system and bigger throttle body and probably a LSD and then when i feel like i wanna risk anything on the car i will look into it all being done at jamsport as i had to call them numerous times saturday anyway

i dont have a clue atm, might not be, i will know by friday if i can make it or not!

does your car have to be in full running order to get in? can i get towed? it can move on its own accord but not more tha 100yrds at a time before it cuts into engine safety mode (ie idle)

Just a thought Dan - Maybe you damaged the rubber bit on the TB and its leaking air or something?? Would that be a likely problem? I'm expert but I heard they can be easily damaged when cleaning it?
