Hello Everyone!

After much phoning and pseudo-organisation I can finally announce the intention of the Rolling Road Day on Saturday 1st May 2010.

I have had to wait to announce a date as the motorsport industry has released their dates a bit late for 2010, so finally....

What is a Rolling Road?

A rolling road is a machine where the vehicle can be setup to simulate driving conditions and loads and is then able to measure the amount of BHP and Torque the vehicle produces.

Costs

Cost is £20 per car and that will include one Rolling Road run and a graphical readout of your results.

What next?

Please get your names down as soon as possible as we will need to get the moneys in by 1st February and the first twelve names (with cars) will be featured in Fast Ford Magazine.

We should be aiming to go down with fifteen cars to make the day worthwhile.


Please pop your interesting in this thread and once we have sufficient interest I can add a payments thread/button.....

Of course, the usual packed lunches are advised, I'll be bringing along the chocolate as usual!!

I can guarantee you an excellent and interesting day, I've attended an event just like this one last year and everyone crowds round to see the results, there's sadness and joy and you never know where the photographer is going to snapping next!


After the Rolling Road...

For those of you that fancy a little something afterwards, we will be heading to a local family friendly pub for a bite to eat and a good old gossip.
