Seems that I jinx any server I go on. This month already the server has suffered more downtime than for the whole of last year.

The reason as given to me is:

We're still seeing kernel lockups on this server despite changing the memory and the scsi drive cables. We are now going to remove both scsi drives and place them into a completely new server thus ruling out all remaining hardware (other than the drives themselves).
