Mud Flap Problems!

Hey guys, Decided to fit my mud flaps today from Team Torquesteer (£100 Spec R), the front ones went on fine. However, fitting the back ones was a different story, first of all the brackets sent to me look completely different to the brackets shown in the instructions, and when I bent them and temporarily secured them to to the bumper/arches, they stuck out, didn't line up correctly and looked terrible! I have attached a couple of pics so people can see what I mean, am I performing a school boy error or what? If someone could easily explain how to fit the rear flaps, or even better, upload some pics of the rear flaps from different angles that would be great! Cheers People!!!

think you have bent them wrong way, inward not outward.

mine are on the Forecourt under One Stop Post for modifications, but not best looking angles, they do look well when on especially if same colour.

Steve, Just checked yours out on the Forecourt, did you use the rear brackets supplied? Only you cant see them at all, and I thought they would be visible?

They aint easy to fit, the rears are the worst but just take your time, well worth the effort.

Steve is right you've not bent the brackets correctly.. The way you've got them shown you just need to bend them back in-towards the inside of the car, just makes sure the bend is flush with the wing of the car. Ive put up some photos on the previous post. http://www.fordfiestast.co.uk/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=185904&an=0&page=0#185904j.

yes, mine are correctly fitted, unlike my brothers on his Scooby STI, his mechanic fitted them with the brackets on the outside ie showing , they should be behind the flap and hidden.

I recieved Steve's 1st email but there was another entitled "mud flaps" in my Junk box, I just glimpsed it as I hit delete lol - force of habbit you see. If I wasnt seeing things, could you re-send it?
