My zetec is drinking coolant. Cant see any drips under the car but the block seems a little wet. it went through 1/2 a kettle in about 15miles. i hope the head hasnt gone... getting it looked at later. driving the hungry RS, not that im complaining at driving it.

Hope its nothing too serious Scotty .... maybe its just leaking when you are driving around. Take it there is no water in the oil?!

look for bubbles in the coolant tank when the lid is off.

Happened to mine. It went through a tank of coolant in a couple of days. No puddles, a teeny bit of something on the underneath but nothing major & it turned out to be the bottom rad hose had split where a clamp had rusted on it. New clamp and she has been as good as anything since.

Im not proud of this by a long shot but I had driven my ST since Nov (Really bad weather im bettween) and the heater in the car hadnt been working - just cold air. Finally in Feb i took it in and they said there was NO!!!! coolant in the tank - the pump was bust and they replaced it. I was VERY VERY lucky. So get it to garage - appaently some clip goes quite often too.
