Had a bit of a wee accident with some mastik style adhesive trying to stick me number plates on, dont ask why my dad suggested it

Removed all the glue that was in the wrong place, but where I had to use my thumb nail to scrape it off, there some hairline scratches. I wanted to use a little polish or t-cut to remove them, but do either methods leave one faded patch? I say this as there was a small patch on the bumper, and Im worried if it doesn't blend it will be obvious..

Nah it won't fade the paint, otherwise we wouldn't smother our cars in them

Wonder if autoglym super resin polish would be good enough

Any pics?

Thanks for the quick reply

So just to be clear (takes me a bit longer to grasp things than everyone else ) I could just apply it to the area where the glue was and it should blend with the rest of the bodywork.

I've got some autoglym resin polish, so I might try it first since there not too bad...

Give it a go taken the swirls out of the car but I need something more aggressive
But you may as well work up and if you have some....
Only thing is you may make that bit of paint work look amazing

i would use some Autoglem paint restorer if the resin polish does not bring it up then re polish with resin personally I find the autoglem paint restorer better than TCut
