Hey all, An annoying problem...Every so often my car alarm goes off for no apparant reason and even more annoyingly it only ever seems to happen when im at work and can't go out to turn it off! Today it seemed to get even worse, it went off for ages and the second it turned itself off it went back on again, it's just embarrasing more than anything, plus a bit worrying as i never know if it is going off for a reason or not. Just wondering if anyone else has or has had the same problem and any suggestions about what, if anything can be done about it? Ive got the pre-facelift model and its an 06 plate...

I did have a set of fury dice behind my rear view mirror which i thought may have been causing it but as soon as the alarm first started going off randomly i took it down but it's still happening. Not sure which is worse, going off all the time or not at all...Someone sitting in my car certainly sets my alarm off as my brother found out when i locked him inside it while i ran into a shop to buy something, he wasn't to impressed! haha.
Anyway, on a serious note, could it be the air vents? I'll try closing them if see if that helps, just hard to tell as can go weeks without going off...

There was a GEM update that cured this problem. My alarm used to go off all the damn time and I am sure it would have annoyed the neighbours if they could have heard it!!! If it keeps going off without cause, get Ford to sort out the GEM.
